Born in 2005 in Slovenia, Tjaž started tinkering with computers before most kids had smartphones. By 16 he was building his own tools, not because anyone told him to — but because he couldn't find anything that worked the way he needed it to.

His obsession is cybersecurity. Not just breaking things, but understanding systems deeply enough to build ones that can't be broken. That mindset — thinking like an attacker to build like a defender — shapes every product Ricochet ships.

Tjaž doesn't believe in building for the sake of building. He wants to make something that genuinely matters — tools people rely on, companies that last, and software that earns trust. Ricochet Group is that vision.

Aljaž spent years teaching mathematics and physics in Slovenia. He was good at it — genuinely good — but something kept pulling him toward a bigger question: what happens when you apply this kind of rigorous, first- principles thinking to software?

He made the leap. And it turned out that explaining calculus to teenagers was the best possible training for building AI products. The ability to break complex problems into clear, simple steps is what makes Ricochet's tools feel different: logical, intuitive, and built by someone who actually had to explain hard things to people.
